Here at Womazing we take pride in being diverse with our music taste. I tend to post quite a bit of East Coast Hip Hop music, so I’m going to make an effort to post some of my favorite West Coast joints. I know majority of our following base are East Coast residents, but hey, we all love Hip Hop despite what side of the states you live on! With that said, I gravitated toward this jam. I know all the words to this joint, and in my opinion, it’s a classic. For one, the story-telling on this joint is on point. Respect the message or not, you can’t deny the awesome story-telling skills. This is a portion of the Hip Hop genre I’ve missed for some time. More on this song, I’ve heard, and I’m sure many of you have also heard, that this song was actually written by Ice Cube. In my personal opinion, that’s not hard to believe. If you listen to Ice Cube rather regularly you can probably agree that the lyrics do sound like something he would write. And I feel that Ice Cube is one of the top ten best story-tellers in Hip Hop. Anyway, Eazy E still did a good job of delivering this song, and it’s one of my West Coast favorites. R.I.P. Eazy E!
